This was the info-ad we gave on The Telegraph Kolkata

The Assam Tribune had this mention

On the Telegraph Guwahati

What is Sristir Ramdhenu?

Sristir Ramdhenu is a socio-literary and cultural organisation of Assamese people living in West Bengal. We have organized successful Bohagi Bidai and Magh Bihu celebrations for two consecutive years now. The members include both working professionals and students. We do not have any barrier on new members willing to join the organisation. To meet our conference hall expenses and other small expenses, we charge a monthly fee of Rs. 100 from the working professional every month and Rs 50 from the students. If paid together for a year, we give a concession on the fee of two months. If you wish to be a part of this organisation, send a mail to sristi.kolkata@ibibo.com or mail me at manashree.b@gmail.com (preferred). To know more, you may visit our website :

If you are not Assamese, perhaps you are yet to draw a meaning of the name. Literally, Sristi means to create or creation itself. the 'r' at the end of the word Sristi is a parts of speech  denoting a belonging, like "of Sristir". The word Ramdhenu is the Assamese word for rainbow. So, we, the members of this organisation are like the colours of the rainbow, in short, we are VIBGYOR :)
